Cecil Place is developed by Cecil Pte. Ltd. (ROC No. 200911238Z), the registered developer of the freehold commercial landmark at 137 Cecil Street. The development carries Building Plan Approval No. A2552-00027-2021-BP01 dated 22 April 2025, and sits on freehold land at Lot TS02-00237N. Throughout this site we refer to the Cecil Place development by its registered project name; the developer entity is Cecil Pte. Ltd., distinct from the appointed marketing agents.
The architecture of the Cecil Place Premium Office building is the work of DP Architects, one of Singapore’s most established design practices. Their brief was to bridge classical art and modern design — drawing on traditional Chinese landscape paintings (山水) to express the strength of mountains and the vitality of flowing water through a contemporary curtain-wall façade.
Project Credits
The mountain-inspired contours of the façade echo the grandeur and serenity of mist-covered peaks — portraying a solid foundation, steady growth and an upward spirit. Weaving through these alpine elements, the flowing water portrays continuous streams of wealth, abundance and ever-growing progress. This philosophy of being anchored in stability while flowing toward success defines the distinctive design of Cecil Place.
